You cannot.
If there is something in particular you are trying to see, for example, to contact a seller for something you bought, email me directly. |

if you use the search in the "Home" drop-down menu, you can find deleted ads. while it is rather cumbersome and you get a LOT of results from the forums and gallery and classifieds, you can find old ads, although you won't be able to see the text, and most likely not the larger-than-the-thumbnail pic. you'll also only be able to see the title and price.
for example: i searched 'voltage converter' and got this ad http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=455072
you can also type in the user name and what you are searching for to see if there are any old ads. again, cumbersome, tons of results.
it does take a little practice using this search, but if you are really looking for something, it may be worth it? |

You can use google to search for deleted ads, but you are limited to the information Jon mentioned above.
I do this often if I am trying to figure out what to price stuff at and there are no current ads listed. |
