| What kind of thoughts are there on the MXHP carbs for a 74 914 with a stock 2 L. Are they dependable? Worth looking at? Also the size. Anyone no which would work better, the 40's or the 44's. I am looking to carb my engine as I have no fuel injection. It is all gone and so I am about to order carbs. Any thoughts or experience on this would be welcomed. |

| if they are good clones you should ok,webers are simple and dependable,i used 40's on my 2.0 and the were great! |

| if new,just install w/3# fp,if used remove top and look at float chamber for calcium deposits,if found clean! |
