I just bought a radio from a guy in spain who has been in business for quite a while and has good references. I did paypal and it is in transit as I type. Kind of spendy but they are all just about cherry. He has some of the original blaupunkt kohl models that were the first auto channel seeking car radios. They are cool cause you can watch the dial turn as it is going to next station. They are all fully tested and guaranteed too.

There are some nice old radios on eBay. I saw one while scrolling for Porsche parts, but they indicated VW as well.
