I'm looking to update the wheels on my bus - they are by far the ugliest part of my bus. It's a 66 Euro Panel and I'm not sure of the type of wheel that will fit - besides knowing its a 5 lug pattern. Are there any differences between the Euro and not? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

not sure about any euro differences but i think BRM's look great. go to the gallery and look at Earlyman's green double door panel with BRM's. He squeezed those suckers on there and they look nice. If you got the dough...

I had some nice 15" 5 spokes on my '66, but went for more of a stock look. I'm ready to let 'em go cheap. Contact me if interested.

I like the replica 356 rims, but hate chrome. I had mine powdercoated silver like the factory style. They look really good and fit in nicely without being to flashy. My panel looks good too. I did it like it could've been done back in '57. All period performance tuned. Porsche pre-a engine (dual port 36hp, twin carb, stroker crank) so the wheels fit in on my bus. It just depends what look you want for your bus. I'm a HUGE fan of the early empi sprint stars (5x205mm) and think they look great on busses. Hope I helped.

Thanks for all the responses. And hey Mike, good to hear from you.
I have to say I like the polished empi's the best, but they also are a little flashy. I've been saving a while for some new wheels so my price range is about $500. Anyone have any recommendations on where to look to buy some wheels.
Peace,

I always looked at blimpvw.com at the polished empi set. Their website looks pretty cheesy but they do have a good price on a nice set of wheels, caps, lugs, etc. jake.

thanks for the props o-bus. i think BRMs are the coolest aftermarket rim. i like the magnesium look, that'll be my next set. tho i'm really turning more back to "the philly look" plain silver-white stock rims/no hubcaps. called "the philly look" cuz it looks like the were stolen.
