so you can get another bus some day and enjoy the thrill of becoming a bus owner all over again? i regret leaving my binz a few thousand miles away with someone who gave me bad contact info. still hoping to get the binz back, but that was 20 years ago so i'm more likely to have to buy another one for much more than the $600 i paid for mine (yep, you read that right). if only i had 1/10 of a clue as to what i had. i've got callouses on my butt from kicking myself...

yeah i guess i could...but the ting is, i had one it was a 66, it didnt look too pretty on teh otside, but the floor was good, it was a total blank canvas for me, my first project, and i traded it away for a 73 beetle that i could sell for 1500 so i can pay my bills..i was panicking, i thought i wouldnt be able to pay them off, but now everything is under control, and i have a brand new engine, and like $3000 to spare to work on it. and its gone. =( i know its just a car, but i want it back, i couldve designed that anyway i wanted to. god im an idiot. sorry for the big story but im venting and noone else ever wants to hear this crap so i figured i could always talk to the computer screen.

Don't dwell too much on it. After owning a few, you realize they come and they go. It's hard because you really get attached to the first one. I remember I used to drive around the neighborhood of the people I sold my first Beetle to for hours trying to find it. But better deals will be had, and when you find another you enjoy, the "one that got away" won't bother you so much.
