How far do you fill the oil bath when replacing the oil (for my '66)?
Did panels ever come with rag tops or are they all fabricated in? |

first, fill the oil to the red line inside the aircleaner can.
second, to my knowledge and that of every other researcher out there, ther was never a factory sunroof panel. ther was not an M code for a sunroof. it was such a big option that it was always in the model number. all of the factory and dealership literature that I have indicates that sunroofs were available for deluxes, micros and kombis. these were the only passenger model buses. I have heard rumor of a factory sunroof westy, but until I see it for myself, I wouldn't bet on it. |

| I'm in the market for a early panel but I won't buy one that is slammed. Just about every panel out there is lowered and it's hard to find one that is not. It's not that I don't think that it looks cool, it's just I want to be able to drive it to more places then just the parking lot and I want to use it for camping and you can't take a lowered bus off road (unless you want to stay there). |
