Ok here is another one in my area and of course the seller wants an even more astronomical price.

Since it is such a small world in the 411/412 I figure someone here might know the car.

That one surfaced in ads I thought a couple of years back on the STF. If its the same one...it was great then.

Inquire as to what went into the hand built front suspension. Most probably it is either Bill K.s version or a version of my solution. In that condition..with rebuilt front and rear suspension and brakes. It would save you so much time and money that it would be one of the few that is worth at least 75% of that price or more. Ray

How about that beautiful '74 wagon up in---Ontario, was it? He ended up slashing his original asking price a couple of grand and still it moldered in the classifieds for months. And it had a manual transmission. And would someone please, please take home that yellow two door out in Colorado.

Did the Ontario one ever sell? The expensive ones disappear and I never see the eventual owners on any user group so I really wonder if they ever sell.

I guess they are destined to rust away in a garage somewhere.

I see it is not posted anymore, do you think it sold?

reluctantartist Fri Dec 02, 2011 8:16 am

I followed up on this and no it did not sell. The owner is keeping it. He has so much money into it it is not worth selling for less to him. That may be what is happening to the others. Maybe one day these cars will get more respect. Even Edsels sell for a bit of money and I think there are more of them.

And that other beautiful wagon over in Illinois. The one with the custom front suspension that Ray commented might be his design. Anyone know what happened to that one?

The Illinois wagon is the one I followed up on. I am not sure about the Ontario one, probably the same situation. I hope one day these cars get the respect they deserve.
