| I am buying a '67 deluxe with no engine. I have a fresh 1776 with a 12 volt flywheel from a Beetle. Do any modifications need to be made to bolt it in the bus. I'm new to type IIs. Please help. |

The only thing that may need changing would be the air filter. If you've got a stock Beetle air filter on that 1776, then you'll have to get either an aftermarket one or a stock bus air filter. Good luck with the bus.

| Just to add some more info to this, '67 was the first year for a bus to be 12v. This also means that you have a 12v tranny which makes it easy to accept 12v flywheels. No cutting involved like you have to do with a 6v tranny. |
