| Okay, when you really drop a bus, what about the steering box? Anyone have photos ? Rack and pinion? Raise the box? |

| whoever had my bus before me make a tow hook setup across the frame rails in front of the steering box. It's a little lower than the box so it drags first, it's still unpleasant but not so distructive. anyone have any snubber or coilover ideas to alliviate some front end dive on low busses? |

MY roomy installed a type 3 steering box into his '57 panel. It sits higher up so the beam will hit the ground basically before the box comes near the ground. Also, if I remmy correctly, a later model steering box can work as well, but I am not sure how they do that yet.
