Can anyone give me some help as to the best thing to do to re-key a 1967 bus. I lost my only set last week, luckily the bus was in my driveway. I've got the front two unlocked by climbing through the safari window, and the back mechanism is stuck. Is a new ignition swith the answer, and if so what is needed. Once the bus is running, I can drive it to a locksmith. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

| Assuming all the doors match pull off one of the door handles and take it to the lock smith. I can usually get a key cut like this for under $15. I usually pull the cargo door handle as it's easiest. If the ignition doesn't match the doors you could have one cut or just replace it. Its also pretty easy to hot wire a bus if you need to use it in the mean time. |

This guy is the man when it comes to re-keying buses. He has one day turnaround, and I am sure Gabriel would be real responsive to your situation as far as recommendations, etc.

| Thanks for all the help. Unfortunately all the locks were not keyed alike. I am currently contacting Gabriel for suggestions. |
