| has anyone with an early splitty w/ straight axle kit widened a stock bus rim to look deep dish? i think it would look kinda cool. if so any pics or info? wanna retain the stock look but go low and wide. |

I wanted to do this with my bus, but wheel banding is now illigal in the UK. You can still get centers re-welded into deeper rims though - job for the pros.
If you have got short axels on the bus and it has the 'bulge' on the wheel arch you should have plenty of space to play with.
