Hello-
Has anyone ever tried a 14-16 lb. flywheel? My hope is that a moderately lightened flywheel would offer the benefits of a lighter flywheel (faster acceleration) while still being drivable.
Comments anyone?
Cheers,

It will make a difference. The first 2 pounds make the largest difference. And I would personally not lighten it more anyway on such a small motor, unless a heavy pulley was installed. Then even a 13 lbs Flywheel is no problem.

| Yes the 14lbs works great w/ counter weigth cranks but the problem i have with it spinng to fast is crank case pressure build up need to breath box it and non sand seal the front pulley possible 5lb front pulley but besides that I love it. |
