Don't forget West Coast Metric. There product is worthy of a quality restoration from my understanding. One thing to watch out for is NOS rubber. People think it is good but it is 30+ years old and the rubber they used back then doesn't hold up like the stuff today. Rubber gets hard, brittle, cracked and looses it's ability to bounce back after that many years...even if it has been on shelves for those years. Got this advise from VW Trends a couple months back.

| i was once told by an friend that is nearing his late 50'S. and has been involved in vw forever, that NOS is not all it cracked up to be for any kind of part. i dont know from dealing with it myself. but according to him generaly the reason most of those part back then sat was due to the fact that they were screwed up in some way. but anyways thanks doug i for some reason always for get about WCM its probley cause iv not forked out that five buck for there catalog, and i just dont have it sitting around like all the rest. |
