Looks like I'm going on a Mexico road trip ending up in Cancun. I just can't seem to find a source for a good bus bra. Some I have seen in the past are color matched. Going to try to keep the front protected. Any help would be great. Going in my '67 21 window westy.
Thanks Bill |

I have been thinking of going with one of the several "clear bra" products out there. This is a heavy "self stick" (but I don't think it is adhesive...more of a static) material that will ward off bugs and rock chips.
One such company is below. They even have a video on line.

| i had a bra on my scirocco. After a year, the paint along the edge of the bra was scuffed and the clear coat was gone. Never again will I put a "bra" on any vehicle I own... |

| bras can do more harm that good. you cant just put them on and leave them on. they tend to cause wear spots. they are great if the nose of the bus is mashed tho |

| Hmm...Mashed nose??? That would be my bus! i have the bra in the garage just waiting to go on it. i had a 67 nose that was damn good but i had to sell before the move. nowhere to store it. once my bus is ready mechanically, i will search for the perfect nose. |
