I reside in Ontario, Canada, and I would like to build a Porsche Speedster. My plan is to use a VW frame and register it with a VW bug vin. Now, I've been told I'll run into trouble doing so, not only registering it, but also insuring it.
I'm just wondering how you other Canadian speedster owners registered your kit, and insured it!

You need to concern yourself with owners in Ontario. What happens in other provinces is irrelevant.
One simple way is to just buy an older kit car that's already registered. Then rebuild that. |
