| i have a 2003 passat wagon 1.8 turbo auto with bad motor,i found 2002 jetta 1.8 turbo auto,will that jetta motor work in my passat? |

| The manifolds, turbo,oil pan, and pick up tube for the oil pump will definately be different. If you strip it down to a long block, and swap all that stuff I think it would work. While not quite the same, I did successfully swap an 87 fox 1.8 into an 83 Jetta some years ago. |
