What does the on off switch on the opposite side of the steering wheel from the ignition switch do on a 65 bus? Maybe a dumb question but its not in the owners manual.

| there is a switch on the rear light itself also. it takes people like me a long time to figure out how to get them in the "on" position at the same time. |

| That is, of course if the very long wire strung under the headliner to the light is still intact, which it often isn't. |
