i have a missing spring for a solex 28pict carb. anyone know the correct throttle return spring for it?

| The earlier carbs had a spring, tubular sleeve and retaining clip that fit over the end of the accelerator cable just before it reaches the throttle arm on your carb. They can be purchased as a three piece kit at most VW parts houses. There is a difference in the length of the spring between 36 horse and 40 horse engines so make sure you get the correct kit... |
