I just purchased a 1964 bus, it has the center seat and I like so many before me don't need or want to store it. It is complete, unbent and working. The cover is torn but original the frame is surface rusted only nothing a little cleaning and painting wouldn't repair. I have a digital camera and will shoot some pics. Let me know what it is worth and if you might want it.

figure out a price, give everyone you location and then maybe try the classifieds.

Spare me the bull____! I'm not a dealer I want to get some other parts and want to hook somebody up with a seat. Whats fair thats all. Then maybe I'll post it on ebay or the classifieds. Any Safari windows out ther for trade.

Oh it seats three and the seat near the door folds forward. Before I or anybody else gets excited about this. How do I tell if this thing isn't out of a bay window bus? I just read a guys posting from a few days ago and began to wonder. My bus came from a police auction and the seat was in the van but not installed.

Bay window middle seats did not fold over.
Check the classifieds on this site to get an idea of value, but remember that some of the stuff on here is grossly overpriced and has been listed for what seems like years.
What part of the country do you live in?

If it's straight and the handles are in good shape, it's worth anywhere from $300 to $800 according to the prices I've seen on theSamba and eBay.

I took some pics today does any know how I can post them somewhere for free. The handles are in ok shape.

Full width bay middle seats DO fold. The first 3rd of the back flips down.

Andrew,
Are the handles black and on the back?
Or along the top?

Aufever...I'll be damned. I had a '71 and don't remember that...maybe it didn't have the full seat. Sorry if I misled anyone, doh!
