Anyone know where to get a pattern or an origional Riviera tent, besides waiting around for someone to sell thiers? I'm a good seamstress so I can make my own...I just need a pattern.

| Yes Plf does make tents but not the Riviera style, they look more like EZ or Sundial tents. |

| How hard would it be to get poles for a canopy? Does anyone know if the riviera tents came in green? |

what you can do for the poles is go to a garage sale or something and get an old sellers tent- the poles are usually fiberglass and the corner brackets you can get at any hardware store. since most poles today are fiberglass it will be much lighter and more durable, they dont dent or bend, and theyre really hard to break. if you cant find those, you can jsut get your local hardware store to cut you some steel pipe in the size you need. usually they do it for free but if not it will cost very little. the hardest part is finding striped material, ive never been able to find any at the fabric stores but you can, like a said, buy an old porch awning or something, though the material wont be exact.

Green Riv tents came in green striping,as in green stripes over white base with thinner black stripes, but not as a solid green color. My 66 Riv has that color combo.
It does look like most of the poles can be
remade. Sunbrella has some intresting color combo's to make tents with. |
