| Hi i was wondering if any one has had experience or knows about rabbit 6 cly conversions i was looking to se if it is possible to throw a 6 cly turbo diesel under the hood to run for more power and still get good gas unlike its 25 mpg gas twin thank you for any input |

| Why not use a 1.9TDI out of a MKIII Jetta? Probably way easier and with how light the Rabbit is, it's plenty of torque to get you off the line. |

| Look up quality German auto parts. They import German diesel motors that are perfect for the swap into a Mk1. I'm doing a 1.6 NA to 1.9TD AAZ swap right now and it's pretty straight forward. |
