Is a frontend (beam, spindles etc.) of a 64 combi a bolt on for my 67 combi ? I am aware there is more than one type of frontend, but am not sure which year they changed.
Need your advice on this, pretty quick as a matter a fact, since I have first choice in these parts, but do not know whether or not they can be used on my 67. Others will buy it if I don't decide tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

| There are differences, none of which will prevent you from making the swap. |

| They are nearly the same, absolutely interchangeable. A '67 would have had a stock sway bar on it. |

| only real differences, lack of swaybar on the '64 and 64-65 has fenolic bushings for the trailing arms instead of the needle bearings on a 66 and later! |

Thanks guys !
I will buy myself a spare beam today !
But when I would swap them, I must swap traling arms as well, or did I get that wrong from your posts ?
Thanks, Frank |
