Can anyone tell me what to use, or where I can get a suitable piano hinge to secure my pop-out windows. I removed the broken louvered windows from my 66 Westy and have pop-out windows, seals and hinges to replace them with, but no hinges. I have a spare door with a hinge but it has over 15 spot welds holding it on. Do I try and salvage or do new hinges exist?

you have to drill out all the spot welds. don't bother if the hinge is rusted out or cracked. find someone who's parting out a bus and sawzall off a few posts that have a hinge. then do it on the bench. go slow, and you also will need a sharp, thin chisel to help seperate the hinge after the welds are drilled. position it with a couple of screws and have someone spot it on for you.
