i have a 66' bus and i am wanting to slam it...i know you have to get a type I or type III trans...and i was told 67' would be the best....but i cant find one, so will any year work if it has 5 lug drums?....just wondering.....thanks......mikel

| You want the 67 trans for the different gearing. Yes in theory any non split case trans will make the straight axle conversion you are looking to do. |
