anyone have an idea on how to tighten a stub axle nut when the unit is out of the bus? it requires 108 foot pounds. the trans and redux boxes are all put back together, and they look so pretty as one unit sitting on three plastic milk crates! we can put it on the ground, but then how do i get those nuts torqued? please, only ideas which are safe!!!!! thanks....

You might try the "Torque-Meister" by Kymco.... not sure if they fit the buses nut, but I think they have a drawing to make one for their system. I find it a real asset for the tool box.

Has come in handy for me with the daughters bug, torqueing flywheels etc.. Have used it numerous times in past four years that I've owned it.... friends like it too.
