andrewlistl@aol.com Sun Mar 23, 2003 2:54 pm

Nasty boys. But realy busses are about your expression you shouldn't care about what a bunch of testies on a web site think. Just don't do anything wrong you know how inflamed the testies can become

busboy Sun Mar 23, 2003 2:57 pm

yeah im sorry the jack@$$'s mom was suckin on my other testicle

The stock color is a good idea as they are getting hard to find. I personally don't like lowered busses but I won't be driving it so that doesn't matter and lowering it is something that is reversable at a later date. It's your bus do with it what you want and enjoy it.

I have two recommendations.
1) ignore the juvenile jabs from some of the Samba members.
2) Keep any parts you remove such as reduct. gear boxes (for lowering), stock rims and brake parts, etc. Even crappy interior pieces. If you or the next owner ever want to bring her back to stock, you got the parts to do it.

you have to drive it so do what makes you feel good about your bus

All this is great advice but if you're in your teens, you definitely need to hook up a glow kit on it. What good is a cool ride without a glow kit?

crofty Mon Mar 24, 2003 1:50 pm

And some Spreewells...

busboy Mon Mar 24, 2003 4:53 pm

i have never seen a glow kit on a single cab before. and yeah I will keep the stock parts so in the future if someone wants to use them they can. Thanx for all the help guys I apreciate it.

busboy Mon Mar 24, 2003 4:53 pm

by the way...what are spreewells???

crofty Mon Mar 24, 2003 5:13 pm

Dude, they rims or shoes, anyway don't you wacth "Cribs"? j/k

myzamboni Mon Mar 24, 2003 5:28 pm

spreewells are the rims with the spinner attachment. When you pull up to a stop the spinner portion of the rim (roughly same diameter as the weight bearing portion) continues to spin. All the ballers have them.

Spreewell Racing was one of the first companies to offer them. 310 auto and others have followed suit.

20"+ are called Dubs
21" are called Deions or Prime Times
22" are called Emmitt Smiths or just Emmitts
23" are called Jordans

There are probably more, but this is the portion clogging my brain at the moment.

busboy Mon Mar 24, 2003 5:37 pm

Regardless of what many might say, I find it refreshing when one of our society's youths actually make sense and have a clear understanding (however brief)of what truly is cool.
