| Before you yell why rebuild when for 18 bucks a crack you can get new. I dont want to put any money into this thing. I want to sell it on ebay and have it blow up on somebody driving home from the Rocky Mountains. In all honesty I surveyed the cylinders there is no rust pitting, just bad rubber, and not that bad at that. I bet with some use and summer temps these will work fine. I just want to be safe and stop well while I work out some of the body and electricle issues with the bus. In the end disk brakes will go up front and possible in the rear aswell. I do not wish to invest 130 bucks in brake hardware that I am only going to remove in a few months. Has anybody found rebuild kits, or substituted seals from another say chevy truck wheel cylinder kit with success. What are the diameters of the cylinders? |

| Thanks, Autozone four bucks a piece, I have my rebuild kits. I'll put it together this weekend and let you know how it goes. I can not believe none of the VW folks would stock this stuff. Bus folks are notorious for fixing thier stuff on the cheap. Rebuilding rotted rubber seals is a cake walk. |
