Is there a preferred hide away type of exhaust for split busses? My bus came to me with a 4-tip monza style that looks goofy and burns the paint on the rear apron. I'm looking for a dual quiet type system but need ground clearance and want it to exit at the bumper corners. Should I plan of fabbing an exhaust from the header on or is there something I'm missing thats already made. Oh yeah I'd prefer jet coated or similar for longevity. any help appreciated...

Would your old exhaust work on a 69 bay window??? If so are you willing to part with it?

If you don't mind black bumper corners, then try a dual quiet pack from BugPack. I've got a singe quiet pack on my bus, and aside from a black corner on my bumper, I have no complaints.

If you are getting black corners you should look into getting your carb. set a little better. It sounds like you are running rick.
