| Anybody give me an idea here. It's got to be basic, I just can't see it. Just installed a new box to box trans in my 61 double cab. sm. nut trans. New mounts, coupling everything, but now I can't find first. Goes through the gears properly, but 1st and 2nd end up being high gears. There's no slop in the coupling. Does it matter which way the coupling goes in? If you dry shift it, it feels right. Anyway, nothing like having a project almost done, and having to deal with something you took for granted. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Glen |

| Almost every time a transmission is replaced, the shifter requires some adjustment. |
