i cut a hole in my right rocker to look inside. (after seeing the inside of the left side that i have to replace). the right rocker isnt that bad. i was thinking of some sort of wire wheel extended and put on a drill. or the old fashion way wire brush on a stick. then after cleaning painting the inside with por-15. again old fashion way with a paint brush on a stick. also would like to clean/paint the inside of heater channel. any ideas out there?

first clear out all the drain holes. I used a screw driver on a stick to loosen the 'lumpy bits'. I used the vacumn cleaner with some plastic hose to get the crap out, then sprayed rust converter in with a garden sprayer (long wand made of ali tube) When i was happy with the result (dryed with a hair dryer) I sprayed cavity wax in with the garden sprayer, then chucked it out :roll:
I am sure you could do similar with por 15.

i have already vacuumed all the stuff out. what did u use to make the wand spray? compressed air? and what kind of rust converter did u use. thanks

i got a can of their weld threw primer and got a magazine with it and saw that. i dont really like just painting over rust. thats y i need to figure out how to wire brush or acid the inside. i also love the por 15 paint ive used it on every thing. i wish they sold that nozzle thing separate with some other sprayer that u can load your own stuff of choice in.

Like Ian G said..you can use a garden sprayer and load it with anything. Harbor freight also has long wands you can use your compressor to spray.
