4 or 5 years ago I bought a Jeep Wrangler fiberglass kit for a EZ-GO cart. A guy in RI made them and supplied a Aluminum brushed front and rear double tube bumper, roll bar and windscreen. Two piece body that fit like a glove. I painted it silver metalic to match my then real jeep wrangler. It had fender lips just like a real jeep that I sprayed bed liner to give a close texture. Headlights and small duplicate tail lights. The complete kit cost right at $ 1000.00 plus $ 200 shipping to West Virginia.
Have you considered having a mold splashed once you are done and sell a one or two piece body kit for a EZ-GO? I would buy one. Dino could make special windscreens with lexan instead of glass. I wanted a buggy body, but found the Jeep body instead. |

In fact, I have. I think we should do a 2 piece body. My body guy wants to do the larger 1 piece body.
Though we've never made a mold. I've been researching forums, youtube, etc. and have some ideas.
Tell me how this sounds -
we get the thing ready for paint, spray it with PVA, coat it with gelcoat, then layers of glass & resin, and make a mold. Anyone with experience in this area, please chime in.
After that, finish my cart (use it for photos, etc.) Then market the bodies. like one of these: http://carsstuff.shutterfly.com/4345 |

That looks really proportional to the chassis.
Need something over the rear end, like maybe a short carry rack or a narrowed up swept buggy header. |

| From the back view if you narrow the rear fenders? Looks like lots of space between the body and fender downward lip. |

Thanks, that was the goal. I agree, when it's done you shouldn't be able to be as much of the suspension and rear end. I'll have some shrouding, or inner wheel wheels to get the look right. I have been considering making a 4/5 scale bug engine from foam, glassing it it hang out back. If anyone has ideas on that, let me know. |

I agree. I'd like to narrow those by a couple of inches. |

I vote for a 42" LCD panel with a video of a functional VW motor! |

The batteries will remain under the seat similar to the stock golf cart configuration. |

| Nice work! The sides blend in beautifully with the rest of the bodywork. It's going to be a real eye catcher! |

Thanks, originally I was going to have the front and rear fenders each taper away to nothing as they got closer to the bottom of the cart. Then GS Guy brought the Resorter to my attention and tying the front and rear fenders together into a low sill grew on me. |

Will do! In fact, mold release is already on the body & drying. Copies of the body & hood will begin next week. Anyone interested please PM me & I will put you on the "first come first served" list. As parts come out of the mold I will go down that list in order one by one. When I get to your name, I will contact you and you can then agree to take it our you can pass. No obligation, but please don't wait if you really may want one or you may miss out. |
