Will these bodies have a finished gell coat or will they be grey primer semi-ready for paint?
2 pieces, body and hood?
What year EZ-GO did you fit it too?
Even though it is not the right time for me (way too many VW projects), I think I will have to get one while avaliable and store it a year until I can get to it. |

Good questions.
1)We plan to offer them in gel coat. But if someone wants them primed or painted we can do that as well at an additional cost (but if I were building a custom cart, I'd do the paint last.)
2)Yes, 2 pieces. Body & hood. We plan to make additional optional pieces as we go. Like the piece in front of the batteries below the seat front as well as the inner wheel well liner/under body shrouding. Some will want to make their own, but once we make ours, we may offer them.
3)We started with a 2008 EZ Go TXT but since most golf carts are similar in size and shape, this body can go on several makes & models if you are willing to make modifications.
I will put more on our dune buggy golf cart website FAQ. Since this started as a one-off build, and turned into production by popular demand, perhaps I need to end the sales talk. This site & the contributors have been great help to me & I don't wish to break forum rules. Administrators, please feel free to contact me about becoming a paid advertiser here. |

Thanks for the info. I vote for a blue metal flake gel coat for mine.
One last sales pitch, please add your golf cart web site to your signature area so we can check them out there. |

Our web site should be populated with content soon, once we have photos of finished parts. I will add it to my signature. Thanks |

You've been Splashed! :D
Looking good! Did you build stiffeners into the mold to keep it straight and square over the long term? Or maybe not necessary in this case?
Let the production begin! |

Let the prohduction begin!
We used high quality epoxy tooling gel coat & epoxy resin. It is less likely to shrink and warp than some other fiberglass materials like the cheap stuff you see at some auto supply stores. Our material supplier also sells to many local aircraft companies. Nothing but the best. The mold is super thick and strong and has some bracing, but we are planning to add more along with support structure, legs, etc. |

| Looking good, I still think mounting an LCD with a clip of a running engine out back would be over the top! |

I do have one of these (came with the kiddie ride body I am no longer using). I considered using a clear distributor cap with flashing lights inside. And/or adding real pulleys and a belt that turns using an electric motor. Someone else suggested I add a speaker & a recording of a VW engine. All cool ideas, keep them coming & thanks. |

| Boomerang, if you can make a mold of the body, you should also be able to make a mold of that replica engine. Get busy. LOL By the way, a really slick build you have going here. Keep up the great work. Best of luck with future sales as well. |

I've had several people ask about copies of the body, so now there is a mold and copies available. But up until now, zero people have inquired about copies of the engine (as far as I recall), but if there is genuine interest, I can certainly do that also. |

Although it looks like its close to full size, It is looking awesome.
Just a side note; I think you have the windshield on backwards. The groove should face front.
Are you going to make bag racks? |
