| This is a heads up for anyone that uses BOSCH points, plug wires, caps, coils etc. There has been a substantal price increase, almost 100% on any BOSCH electrics. Buy now (stock up) if you can still find them at the old price and if the vendor will honor the old prices. BUY all you can.. |

Ummmmmmm............. really.
As Glenn already knows, I have been posting for over a year now that you need to stock up on all Bosch ignition and tune up parts. They are slowly discontinuing all aircooled VW stuff. A lot of the tune up parts are already NLA.
And while we're at it, if you want a new factory Mag case or real VW heads you better buy them today. Because they no longer make the aircooled VW in Mexico, Volkswagen will be stopping production soon. In another year or so all that will be available will be the EMPI Chinese heads and cases. |

I'm convinced.
Too bad I already have 35 sets of points in stock. At 4000 miles a year that will last me 140 years. |

35 sets.... that's impressive... I have not a single new set in "stock" here... because I haven't needed any points for my bug since the early 90's!.... it was meant as a joke, but i can see where it might have hit a nerve.... I'll keep on saving dollars not buying those pesky points and condensors though.... |

I'll keep driving after the EMP blast that heralds the end of the world.
I get my points at the FLAPS around the corner. They haven't let me down. |

I think I changed my points once since 1998, so the $80 i've saved over a Pertronix is helping my 401K ;) |

Like investing, I got in early, I could have gotten two pertronix units for that $80 dollars... as I said, I'm money ahead..... |
