I guess that is the hard part. I put it on craiglist, but so far people are asking me tons of questions that I do not have the answers for. I was hoping someone would just want it and come get it. I guess I am delusional.

Not delusional. Did you list it as a parts car? Most people here have gotten burned or known somebody who got burned buying a car without a good title and then spent time fighting the DMV in order to be able to drive it on the road ever again. That's what that property/responsibility discussion was all about.

We need better pictures to help you out, but bugguts thinks it's a '65-'66 (I'm not sure how he can be that exact, but from what I can see I'm not going to disagree). That should be enough for most people to figure out the style (not fat chick, not oval window, bumpers have over-riders if they're still there, etc.) What kind of questions are you getting?

just post it for free

state that you want it gone how ever it takes come and get it and you dont have tittle so dont even ask I bet some one will jump on it with in the day

I am going back out there this weekend and I will remove the stuff off of it and take more pictures. When I looked in the windows, I saw a bunch of exterior parts laying inside.

Yeah..I definitely do not want money for it. I am getting all sorts of questions from CL. Year, history, condition, engine. Any questions about it is kind of strange since I explicitly said that I know anything about it. The real estate agent will not give me personal contact of the previous owners so there is no way I can find out more than what I can see.

You didn't really tell us where it is. What part of the country.

There are plenty of folks who would probably like to come get it, but they have to know how close they are.

You may also want to post a "Come and get it" ad on Volks Rods. Those guys are always looking for stuff to cut up!

Of course there is always the danger that the more you look into it, the more you will get interested yourself!

It's a '65-'66 because it has larger windows and fat body trim

I think it was established that it is near Stanwood WA, which is the west (wet?) side of the state

I find that no matter what I say in an ad, either someone asks a question that I explained explicitly that I don't have the answer to, or that I answered with full clarity in the ad text. Most often, an email with those questions goes in the trash bin.

You can go the county courthouse and find the record of ownership on the property. It's public record.

I have not even moved into my new house yet and found the previous owner left this car in the woods. I am really not sure what to do with it. Any suggestions? I will try to take more pictures, but there is not much sunlight where it is sitting.

Chances are very night the car is completely rotted on the bottom 12", including, but not limited to: the rockers; the floor(s); the front apron; the lower/inner trunk; the engine bay; and the luggage area.

The quickest, most efficient means of dealing with this is to either put it on Craigslist for free or to take the time to load it on a trailer and haul it for scrap. Considering the price of scrap these days (especially your location), the money will have been worth the effort.

I would put it on the classifieds here on the samba. Show that picture and tell your story and sell it for $50 or so. Sell it without a title and give a bill of sell.

We can see that it is a 65 or 66. If there was a picture of the dash we could tell the exact year.

Im shore someone on here will want it.

who cares if its rotten I see at least 200 bucks in parts at the swap

I have never seen so many people being picky over something FREE
