At last after 27 years a new record with Dave Lee Roth, and it's a good one just like the old days, I had nothing against Sammy as I have some of his solo LP's but to me it just didn't work being in VH.
If you're an old VH fan then buy the new CD, it's good to have Dave back
:D |

| Based on what I have heard of the new stuff ( Tattoo ), I think they need Michael Anthony's backing vocals to get the sound right. They'll never be Van Halen of old until M.A. returns and Wolfie crawls back up inside Valerie. |

I like Van Halen, not Van Hagar, Diamond Dave was always the better singer but after listening to "Tattoo" I have to say it SUCKED!
Lid, have you seen the size of Wolfie? He'd split ol' Val like wet pine. |

I definitly prefer Van Halen over Van Hagar, but will hold off buying this albumn till I hear more. Tatoo is 'okay', but not enough to base the whole albumn on yet.
I'll probably end up getting it though, because Diamond Dave is just too cool. What other straight guy can get away with prancing around in assless spandex and a cod-piece during a rock show? |

| I loved the original VH and Van Hagar. Saw VH with DLR 5 years ago and have to say DLR was awesome. He obviously works on his voice. Don't care for the new CD, but I'd see them in concert if they tour again. |

I ain't gonna touch that. It's way to possible. Did you read the Rolling Stone interview with Sammy? He painted Eddie like a walking time bomb. |

| I picked up the CD two days ago and it is awesome. Reminds me of the good old days, seeing them at house parties in Pasadena and surrounds, blasting the first two albums when I was at college. Totally digging it! |

It's a horserace between that and Eddie's next visit to dry out. |
