I have a rail with a link pin beam. I had one arm with slope, bushing was good. I assumed all link pin arms was the same.

The red one is mine, the other I snaged from a buddy.
Sorry I dont have a mic to measure for you.

Mine has no chamfer, and is smaller diam.

this part of the arm is also different

I need to learn the differance, and find a replacement asap, I have searched
threads and pics with no luck. My locals here dont know, hoppeing to get some help from you guys.

Thanks,
Paul

there is a difference between beams with micarta bushes and beams with roller bearings.
i'm not sure what the difference is but it might account for this.

The red one looks like one from my 58, but it maybe even earlier. I believe 1960 and earlier are made like the red one, the earlier cars are flat like the red one and the later linkpin cars have the groove like the other. I'm not sure about the part that slides into your beam. I have not removed the arms from my 58s beam to compare them with a later so I'm not sure about that part is different or not.

I was thinking the same thing in the terms of different years. My 65's torsion arms look just like the black one.

I just did a search for "torsion arms" and "trailing arms" in the classified section. One guy has a set like your red one as 55' thru 63'. Sounds like that's the difference. The black one must be from 64' thru 65.' That's just assuming the sellers know their stuff and are accurate with the different years. Regardless of that, it does appear that the red one is older than the black and that's pretty much it.

another set like your red one, but it's listed as 55-57.

Finally, this is what you need:
