| right now i have my 68 baja and its my daily driver. its in desperate need of new tires. i mostly tend to stay on the road but i do plan/like to go on the trails and have a little fun. i have 8 x 15 wheels in the rear and in the front i have 15 x 5.5. i dont need anything too extreme but i want it to look good and serve both onroad and off. any suggestions? pics would be great too! Thanks. |

| i am sure you have read the sticky above. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=351210 a picture of your car or information on any mods (lift, stock, lowered, etc.) would help us. what size tires are you running on the rear? |

I'm planning to get the Yokohama 742s for my fronts. It seems to be the only 7 x 15 that is a radial.
Its my understanding that the bias ply shouldn't be mixed with radials ( most rears) for street and highway driving. |

| You shouldn't mix types on an axle. Different on each end should be ok. |
