| Couple of questions how easy are 36hp oil coolers to identify,and does using a 40hp cooler create any issues????thx in advance |

| There were at least three versions that I am aware of. There were the earlier round top, the transition roundtop with boss for a support bracket and then the flat top- not really flat just flatter than the round ones. They do have a date stamp on them. Anything after 1960 is going to be 40 hp. |
