I have a 2003 VW Passat 1.8 Turbo. About a month or so ago, My airbag warning light with buzzer came on. Every time I start the car; it buzzes and dings;, then, airbag icon stays on for the rest of the drive.
I tried just taking battery cable off for 3 minutes; to no avail.
Help please. |

| You need to get some sort of scan tool to look at the fault memory of the airbags. If there is a broken connection to one of the seat airbags, as an example, that will need to be fixed to get the light to go out. If the faults stored are only intermittent ones, then you can try erasing them. |

| Could be something as simple as broken switch in the seatbelt. Definately need to get it scanned and find out what's causing the fault. In the meantime, your airbags are disabled |
