Hey Everyone.
My 77k mile 66' engine was in need of a top end job so I decided to take it all the way down and see how she looks. All bearings were great minus copper showing on the centre main. It was owned by an ol' lady for 60k of those miles so I wondering if she didn't lug it around a bit in low rpms?
Anyways, deciding to upgrade to 1584cc and 35/32 valve heads, I found a nice TDE single port kit and picked it up. also went with an orange fram, original paint Screamer from Glenn, 912 breather. engle 100.
I'm not painting any tin, only cleaned with Spray9. I love the look and it's just the way it should be IMO. I did go for SS pushrod tubes and Silicone seals though.
Waiting for my nice valve job to finish up and I should be breaking it in this weekend. After I break in my race car motor 8)
why is this one rotated??? eff.

Well life and work got in the way for a few weeks. Cam break-in went just fine minus vac leaks manifold/head and the right carb was lean and causing the left to backfire lol. Got it sorted and now have this.. probably changing to a 1 3/8 header and phatboy for summer.
I have it installed now with my wideband to do some adjusting. With the stinger on it sounds like the race car :D
stupid iphone video is rotated :/
