They had Breakfast sandwiches[/quote]

Some times we try to cook breakfast but nobody wants to work together with a hang over. Maybe we will try again. What do you say John?

Kathleen & I have had breakfast at the food court. Great selection & some good prices. Tom

I don't eat eggs so therefore I don't cook eggs , and besides I'll probably have a hangover :-&

Ahh, wait a minute, I was thinking of that little restaurant by the camp grounds. I see now you're talking about the actual pavilion.

Bad news (well, not THAT bad). Kiera has said we're staying in a hotel this year as it's her Birthday and she doesn't want to camp. I'll still be hanging out at the campgrounds for as long as I can get away with though.

I plan on camping there Friday night, leaving Saturday afternoon. The kids may or may not come. I won't have a buggy but plan on picking everyone's brain for ideas/recommendations on the questions I've had while building mine.

I don't drink much anymore, so no worries of a hangover for me. I can bring the dutch oven and charcoal to cook breakfast on Saturday morning. The one breakfast we usually make while camping is here--> http://papadutch.home.comcast.net/~papadutch/dutch-oven-recipe-mtnman.htm

Serves 10-12 :D

We can treat her to a dune buggy repair clinic of sort, who knows someone may have an un-attainable fuel pump that'll need replacing - you know the Canadian mounting location.

those darn Canadian mounties...

hi all, as of now it looks like nicolas and i will not make it this year. my manx is still under the weather with my fuel tank issue and my wife is no longer working....makes money and long trips disappear. i am hoping to have the monocoque back up and running for the obx trip in october. the goal is to drive it to obx and back (10 hour drive...yeah!)..the old 40H slugging it out on the highway! i might make it there by the end of the week if i start early enough ;-)
Have fun and stencil someones chairs or tent.

Well, That sucks. I hope every thing works out for you. Its not going to be the same with out our yearly key hunt though.
See you at OBX.

OK, plans are in flux.. I may be camping after all. My Dad is talking about coming now and wants to bring his camper.. Kiera would be fine with sleeping in that. What I'm not sure of is if your'e allowed to bring campers.. Considering that Tom "Kustoms" et. all sleep in a rented U-Hual truck I'm thinking it won't be a problem, correct?

Letterman7 Mon Apr 16, 2012 4:54 am

Campers are absolutely allowed! Just get there early enough to secure a spot.

73SpeedBuggy Tue Apr 17, 2012 6:20 am

Camper will be coming in Friday afternoon, hopefully there will still be room with the gang.
