| Is there an upgrade or some other way of getting closer, clearer images when using google earth? I KNOW exactly where a bus is, and used google earth to "test" the resolution to get a baseline for identifying these things, but it's so blurry and nondescript that it could be anything from a VW bus to a tarp laying on the ground. Not much good unless you know exactly what you're looking at, in which case you don't really need to see it via google earth. |

| Not really. The cameras used are probably programmed not to be high resolution for privacy sake. On a street view right in front of my house the mailbox isn't 8 feet away and you can't read the number - nor see me and my neighbor standing in my driveway even though I know we're there. If you want a high resolution satellite image, you'll need to contact the military. |

| the real estate agents dont use google earth, they use a french satalite. the reason numbers and cars are blurry is the privacey thing. theres also a programme google earth use that "erases" people its used in some countries but not all. |

It must be your area because if I look at a picture of my old house in Phoenix you can see my ex-23-Window and it is not the best photo but it is super clear that it is a Bus. You can even tell it's a 23-Window.
On the street view you can read the numbers on the sidewalk. They are a little blurry but you can crack it pretty easily.
I checked one of my friends houses and you can see his 2 Buses in the back yard clear as day. |

| I find that Bing Maps has the best satellite photos. Of course the quality varies based on geographical location. |

Check it out and call me. It's on the NW side of that peninsula, on the edge, can't miss it. I looked at my washer last night too. |
