I was wondering is there a way to view all forum post? Like a view all active threads or do you have to visit each category seperatly?

I'm not totally sure what you are asking but I often use the link in the upper-right of the main Forums Page:
View posts since last visit

Depending on how often you log in, this could be A LOT of posts.
For instance, I haven't logged in for 4 hours and it's over 200 threads.

Another thing I have done is I opened all of the Forum sections that I read every day into individual browser tabs and I bookmarked all of them into a toolbar folder.

This is the "Bookmark All Tabs" option in Firefox
(right click on one of the open tabs to see this option)

Now when I want to read those Forums, I click "Open All in Tabs" in that folder I created and it opens all the Forum sections for me.

Then I just work through each section one by one.
If I spend a lot of time reading one section, I will use the "Reload All Tabs" option to make sure the later sections are still current before continuing to read.
