Thanks! This Is actually my car. I am wrapping up a restoration / modification on it and it should be ready pretty soon. A complete pan-off restoration with a few extras like an air ride kit, Jake Raby Type IV engine, 5 speed transaxle and custom wheels. Check it out if you want at www.pumagte.com

Thanks,
Brandon

If I am not mistaken, this car is located in France. I have a magazine article featuring this car scanned and available for download on my site at www.pumagte.com. It is under the "media" section.

From Brandon's site, this one is where it's at!

Throw a Mendeola suspension under this ting with a built type 4, and you would have one hell of a track/auto-cross car!

Yeah, I am a big fan of the early "Tubarao" Pumas but I am not sure if any made it into the US. I sure would buy one if I found it...

This is a 1977 puma that belongs to Joel Mohr of Mohr performance. This was at the classic last year. It has a berg 5 speed and a 120 horsepower 1600.

Is that a "For Sale" sign on the dash?

No, it was his information sheet for judging at the classic.

I got my new wheels in for the Puma. I have posted new photos on the home page of http://www.pumagte.com and in my photo gallery at:

Glad the car is nearing completion, that engine is going to be a beast! Not really digging the wheels though. Maybe once there is some rubber on them to break up all the bling

chickengeorge Tue May 07, 2013 11:57 am

Those wheels are gonna give it a Ferrari Daytona-type look.
