I'm restoring a 1954 3 fold sedan and ordered the mechanism from Sunroofs.com. The following part was included and not sure where it goes. Any help would be appreciated - please include pictures. (First time post)

Im guessing these are replacement tabs that hold down the rubber insert.. Usually those orginal tabs at the front and rear of the rubber inserts get broken off.. cause there thin.. These look like you rivet new ones in.. and then pinch over to stick in and hold down the new rubber insert.. Im just shooting from the hip here.. but thats what these look like to me.. Ill post a picture if I can find one in my gallery..

You see that rubber that slides into the rail on the side.. Up front and in the rear there are tabs that lock it in.. Thats what Im guessing your replacement pieces are..

Can you post another pic with a coin so we have an idea of the scale of the parts.

Thanks for the picture. It seems that this will be for the front of both rails to hold the gasket down. I'll drill the rail, the rivet being brass should be easy to compact. Rear of rail is shown for reference only
