My wife and I are taking the ride from PA to Vegas for Viva Las Vegas on April 5-8, then heading to LA for The Price Is Right on the 9th and the Petersen Auto Museum on the 10th. Then head down to San Diego for a couple days.
Afterwards, we want to rent a sandrail, baja, or buggy to play around on some dunes. However, all the rental places I'm finding seem to only rent those little Yerf Dog type buggies, or they're brutally expensive, and only for an hour or two.
Anyone know a cool place that would rent us a VW-based toy for the day? Or, anyone on here that lives in that area have something that maybe would meet up with us and let us play around for the day? I'd rather rent from a real VW enthusiast than some lame-ass rental company. |

Damn, nobody?
I'd hate to not be able to do this., it's just something we never get a chance to do.
If anyone from down there wanna show a couple of out-of-towners a good time, I'd be more than happy to return you favor if you're ever in the northeast, take ya sightseeing through the ghetto, maybe catch a knife fight viewing or something! |
