Been working on my 71 seems like forever to get her ready for paint (doing myself)..i noticed one side of my roof had a depression in it about the size of a football..but not to deep just barely notice-able.
Then my friend came over the other day and said your roof looks kinda uneven, a little wavy..! i never really stood back and intently looked at it before...but i think he is right...one side seems higher than the other, one side a little lower than the other, a spot here and there.
Its not like you are captured by it when you see the roof..but if your looking for it, its there...since it is a 'curving' (lack of better word) roof im not sure where to begin..i mean shall i bondo it by eye? and try to make a nice shape out of it?...shall i strip it down to bear metal and heat the roof up and then cold spray it..to see if it all pops back into uniformity ?...jees..im tired just writing the post about it...i was so close to putting primer on !!!..any ideas or thoughts appreciated RICK

What you need is to block youre roof , to find the low spots , try to straighten the metal as best as possible before you use bondo for the Small imperfections , my roof has a probably like 8 to 10 dents almost like if it was u der the basketball net and the ball hit it a few tmes , m gonna take the headliner and start from the i.side slowly try to push them up then block it and bondo
