This is mainly for the guys that have done the ecotec swaps, but I've been trying to find a 2.2L eco and haven't had very good luck at all. Every junk yard I go to keeps telling me these engines are very hard to come by. I've found a couple of newer engines but with the electronic TB I dont want to mess with those as its going into a buggy.
I was wondering if any of you guys had any ideas where I should try, I'm located in the Waterford area but I could drive a little bit if the deal is good. The few I have found were a '03 but it was a saturn motor, and with the head issue I was told they have I am going to stay away from that, and only others were $800+.
Any help would greatly be appreciated!!!
