I saw Tommy in 1993. I liked it because of the music and I had seen the movie, but first and last musical for me.

In The Heights was great. Tons of cute Latino girls wearing next to nothing...what's not to like?

Anyone got a good recommendation for an opera?

My Mom and I had a subscription to the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC for 30 years - the first opera I saw that really made me want to go back to experience more was Puccini's "La Boheme" . Didn't hurt that Placido Domingo played Rodolfo, either. A lot of Puccini's or Verdi's operas are very enjoyable with great librettos. Try to read the synopsis before you go and you'll enjoy it that much more....
