 I was driving my '73 Super down the highway one day (freshly rebuilt 1641), and it started to slow down. I didn't know what was going on, so I pulled over, and opened the engine compartment, and it was hot, so I let it sit for a while. I started it back up, and a little while down the road, it started making this weird clank, clank, clank... then it just stopped dead. It totally seized up!! I got it towed home, and tried to start it... It started right up! The thing is, it makes a really bad sounding clanking and thunking. Any guesses as to what it could be?
I will be tearing the engine apart again :x , to see what happened, I'm just curious what anyone has to say.

| I rebuilt it last april. It's a 1641... I put in new cylinders and pistons and piston rings, all new bearings, had the flywheel re-ground, and put on a performance header/muffler. |
